The Knight's Ring

Sometimes reading a novel immerses us entirely in its universe and leaves a lasting mark on the reader's mind. This was the case for La Cité Diaphane, written by Anouck Faure, in which I got lost without finding the exit. This reading inspired me so much that I wanted to illustrate a character of a knight in armor.

The Knight is a black and white illustration showing a mysterious woman in armor whose long braid escapes from a helmet with a lowered visor. She presents her weapon to the statue of her goddess, a faceless entity, so that she blesses her and accepts her wish. No one will see her face until she has accomplished her mission.

This 30x40 cm poster is ideal for people who like to get lost in a medieval-fantasy universe, follow strong female characters or who like the mysterious and charged atmosphere of a sanctuary.
